We are an organization geared towards improving learning conditions and providing educational opportunities for children in the slums of Kolkata, India.

Our Mission

Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty in the slums of Kolkata, India through the power of education. We will achieve this through 3 key pillars - by engaging every child in modern day computer and technical courses, by providing educational scholarships, and by sponsoring safe and clean environments conducive to learning.

Integrate Every Child into the Digital Economy

Being part of the digital economy is more important than ever before. Technology drives all aspects of society, influencing the way people interact, socialize and work. Providing every child with computer and technical skills will result in job opportunities and enable economic growth.

Improve retention and Graduation rates

Drop out rates continue to be high in Kolkata, India which ultimately prevents each of these children to break away from the poverty cycle that they were born in to. Keeping every child focused and engaged in school is a priority as it will allow them to help themselves and their families going forward.

Create an Infrastructure to Foster a Positive Learning Environment

There is strong evidence suggesting that high quality infrastructure facilitates better instruction, improves student outcomes and allows each individual to maximize their potential. Children from the slums of Kolkata are currently not set up for success.
